There is one thing you can’t deny, there is an abundance of great teachers in this world. Sometimes when things are challenging, that is when the best teachers rise to the top. This year we have seen so many great teachers, with Obama shifting the nation with his hope and leadership. Oprah who has shaped American culture with her 25 year talk show streak, our military leaders who protect us overseas. Who have your teachers been this year. Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect and give thanks to those who have taught you life lessons and given you gifts throughout the year.

This week I recommend that you make a list of all of the incredible teachers you have had over the past year. Be specific as to what their individual lessons have taught you and if you are feeling courageous, write each of them a note and let them know what you appreciate most about what they have taught you.

Tomorrow afternoon I am jumping on a plane to go and meet my best friend Amber in Chicago to attend Life Book. Amber is the one that I invented the “Remember Forward” game with. If you have read any of my books, or seen any of our vision board trainings, you know the way the game works is to “REMEMBER” all of your goals and dreams as if they have already occurred.

One of the biggest questions I get on FaceBook.com/VisionBoards is why do you not always get what is on your Vision Board? Here is my answer. As many of you know, if you have seen any of the television shows I have done, or read my books or listened to my radio show, you know my biggest goal is to appear on the Oprah show. She has been on my Vision Board, my vision mug, and every “Remember Forward” training I have ever taught. Why? you may be asking, has this not come true (or have your goals not yet been realized?

This is because you must be emotionally aligned with the reason behind WHY you want to achieve the goals you want to achieve. Meaning specifically, if you look at my goal, and it was about just meeting someone incredible, and being on television, this is not enough for the Universe to grant you your goals. For me this goal is about sharing with the audience that Oprah has created in order to be able to touch millions of lives and teach them how they can achieve their vision in life.

Using this specific example, when I was able to detach from the goal and focus on the mission, many goals that are in alignment with this are starting to actualize. I believe I am aligned in this area, and we are very proud to have just won “Woman Owned Business of the Year” in San Francisco. I know that although my “vision” has not yet come true, the next time I am jumping on a plane to Chicago, it will be for the show. The same goes for you. Please don’t get discouraged if you have not yet achieved your goals. Instead ask yourself “what else needs to happen for me to vibrate at a level that is congruent with this goal?”.

I have been receiving many questions on our Vision Board Fan Page (www.FaceBook.com/VisionBoards) about how people can make more money in the current economy. One of my favorite quotes is that “more millionaires were made during the depression that any other time in history”~

The key is to model the people that have figured this out and that can teach you the strategies that are necessary to make this happen. Well what better person to model that a billionaire, right?
